Note: Airplane mode currently disables the GPS as well. I’ve heard if you jail-break your phone you can disable the cell-phone but still enable the GPS.
However, Apple has made it clear jail-breaking is illegal. Be careful.
Remember - SkyCharts is NOT intended to be used as your primary means of navigation, be sure to use FAA approved means of navigation.
