beta testers wanted

So if you have time and you are interested in beta testing the latest version of SkyCharts,
please PM me! I need your UDID - you get it using the iPhone Configuration Utility below.
Once you have downloaded ICU, click on 'Devices' and your phone should be listed.
I need the 'Identifier' 40 digit hex string.

I'll post the binaries in a hidden forum - once you join you will see the forum.

In order to run the beta, you need a provisioning and the binary (those will be posted in the forum).

Drag both into the iTunes dock icon, sync and it should show up.

If you find some oddness or crashes, I want you to send the console debug output, and the crash log.
You get the console output using iPhone Config Utility below.

The crash logs are available here:
* Mac OS X : ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/<DEVICE_NAME>
* Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter/<DEVICE_NAME>
* Windows Vista: C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter/MobileDevice/<DEVICE_NAME>
PLEASE only send crash-logs that have SkyCharts in the name.

Ok,..I'm willing to beta test. It just seems like the data stream from gfi is getting lost or bogged down. I am on a Mac and have duel boot system. Later tonight I get the program and give you Id number u need.

I posted in the other forum, but I have a g-fi enroute to me now. I am also willing to help test. Should I post that code you need here, or send it in an email?

I have a wifi only 64 gig iPad, if you need that info.

Please email/PM me your UDID and I'll add you to the next beta

For the G-Fi test - simply first start using it and see how well it works.
If you get a non zero altitude then that means you're getting a location from the G-Fi device.
The airplane should also always stay blue.
