In-app-purchases are not working

Apple does charge you, but the app is never updates the subscription.

If this happens to you, just email your purchase receipt and we’ll update the purchase database manually. In order to identify your device, please enter your email in the Settings of the app, then reboot your device and start the app again.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Update: Fixed in v4.1

Active Checklist v1.1 released

Now with WORLD airport database!

Please download on App Store

More information here

UPDATE: Turns out iOS never asks about  ‘Location Service’ for the app. You need to enable that for yourself in order for the app to work using GPS data.

In order to enable ‘Location Service’,
please tap on Settings->Privacy:IMG_0008

Then tap on ‘Location Services':

To change, tap on ‘Checklist’ then change to ‘While Using the App':

I’ll submit a new version to App Store as soon as this is fixed, but it will take a least a week before any updates show up.

v3.8 adds the following charts!

  • VFR Helicopter charts
  • VFR Gulf Coast WAC
  • VFR Wall chart

v3.6 released

Now with native iPhone6 and iPhone6 Plus resolution!

If you have one of these devices, you want this, but unfortunately the airplane icon may disappear.

If this is the case, please go to Settings->SkyChartsPro->Icon Type and select Helicopter or Triangle. You need to kill&restart the application for this change to take effect.

v3.7 has been submitted to Apple, but it currently takes 11 days for new versions to be reviewed.

iOS8

Please hold off updating to iOS8 until v3.5 of the app has been released, which may take a couple of more days.

If you however read this too late, make sure you enable “Location Services” for the app. Press Home, then
Settings->Privacy->Location Services(ON)->SkyChartsPro(Always)

If successful, when the app runs, you will have a little arrow in the upper right corner (next to the battery level).

More of the new iOS8 settings are explained here.

Since there are GUI problems in iOS8 (with v3.4), please refer to the help here for what the buttons are.

Hopefully v3.5 will be out on the 22nd.
